Interlocking

One of the reasons that SunBurst lights are so comfortable are the interlocking battery capsules. Because of their design, the power pack will "flex" to the shape of the person wearing it. In time, the 10 oz. custom leather belt that the power pack is mounted on will take the shape of the person wearing it. With time, it becomes similar to putting on an "old leather glove" - so comfortable, having the weight distributed evenly around your waist.

The "on/on" Switch |

The SunBurst Eagle II + 2 and SunBurst Eagle III are both equipped with an "on/on" switch that regulates how much voltage travels to the halogen hand spot. The "on/on" switch is located on the control box below the toggle that turns the walking light on/off. When the on/on switch is in the "down" position, power from ten batteries runs through the hand spot.

| If more candlepower is needed, simply flip the toggle in the "up" position. Now, all 13 batteries are powering the hand spot - doubling the candlepower. Running the hand spot on the "low" position will conserve power in three of the batteries. The "on/on" switch is protected by a stainless steel guard. |

The Walking Light

All of the SunBurst power packs feature what we refer to as a "walking" light. This handy light is switched on/off with the toggle switch provided (at your fingertips) on the control box. The walking light bulb is protected with a one-inch diameter frosted dome, and provides shadow-free light right at your feet.

The Diamond Headlight |

The patented design of the Diamond headlight has many outstanding features. First, the headlight is constructed entirely of plastics and non-corrosive, unexposed metal, which makes it a non-conductor. Also, the entire Diamond headlight weighs less than 4 oz. with the cord and jack included. This renders the Diamond very practical and comfortable to wear on either a soft cap or hard hat.

| The dovetail mounting pad and cord holder make it very easy to mount. Simply slide the Diamond onto the mount, run the cord over the bump cap/soft cap and secure it with the clip provided in the back. The 3/16" diameter urethane-coated cord never gets stiff - even when frozen. The lens will pivot up and down inside the super-tough, injection-molded, nylon housing, and can be set in one of eleven positions. Flooding or spotting the light pattern is done by turning the knob in the center of the lens. This same knob is unlocked to change the 10v #500 bulb. The Diamond's light is reflected with a 2 3/8" high temperature, silver plated parabola. There is even a red or amber lens that snaps over the clear lens for low-light applications. As with hand spot, connecting the Diamond headlight to the power pack is simply done by plugging in the male jack. |

| The Bump Cap/Soft Cap | |
| All SunBurst lights come with a bump cap to accommodate our Diamond headlight. However, since the Diamond headlight weighs only 4 oz., it also carries nicely on a soft cap. Both the bump cap and soft cap come with the Diamond dovetail mount in front and a clip for the cord in the back. The bump cap weighs only 8.1 oz. and offers protection from brush, weather, etc. |  The soft cap comes in a full foam (winter) or mesh (summer). Once the bump cap/soft cap is adjusted to fit, it will stay on even if you bend over. |

| The Sealed Beam Handspot | |
| The halogen hand spot is carried in the built-in leather sheath provided on the belt. The patented stainless steel clip slides into this sheath, and a leather strap snaps around the handle to secure it. Once the power pack is put on and hooked together, the hand spot can be plugged into the female jacks provided on the end of the control box. |  |
| Turning on the hand spot circuit is done with a push-button switch in the handle of the hand spot. There is a protective rubber boot over this switch to prevent the switch from being accidentally bumped on. The heavy-duty coiled cord will easily stretch an arms length and will ensure years of trouble-free use. The 30 watt GE halogen bulb will produce 250,000 plus candlepower on the SunBurst Eagle II + 2 and SunBurst Eagle III and 135,000 candlepower on the SunBurst Eagle II. This will be far beyond your greatest needs for any type of inspection, fire, police, search and rescue work, or hunting. |

| The Charger | |
| All of our SunBurst Lights, when not being used, can be left on the U.L. approved charger for up to thirty days at a time. The charger plugs into a 110V outlet and the one-way jack plugs into the female receptacle provided in the power pack (for safety's sake, whenever the charger is not being used, always unplug it from the 110V outlet). |  |
