SunBurst Light introduced the SunBurst Saturn - a lighted, rechargeable, visual tracking dog collar in 1988. This lighted dog collar helps protect your dog around a street or highway after dark. We have worked diligently to bring the "Saturn" to its present state of visibility and dependability.

The "Saturn" is powered by 2 rechargeable Sub-C nickel cadmium batteries that light up four light emitting diodes (LED's). The LED's are housed in a 3" polyurethane tube that is secured to the neoprene coated nylon collar by custom injection molded tube supports. With a tube on each side of the injection molded battery housing, your dog cannot turn in any direction without being seen. The battery housing also holds the charger receptacle and mercury switch. The mercury switch turns the circuit on when it is on the dog and off when laid down to charge - automatically. With the buckle provided, the "Saturn" can be adjusted from 12"-22."

The "Saturn" charger is capable of charging two collars at the same time and can be left on charge indefinitely. There is also a removable injection molded plug that stores in the charger receptacle when worn by the dog. The "Saturn" comes in four different colors - red, green, yellow, and orange. All four colors can be distinguished at ¼ of a mile. The "Saturn" only weighs 8ozs. and will produce light for 18 hours per charge (10 of those hours at full brightness). The "Saturn" gives you the ability to distinguish one dog from another and will show you where they are and what they are doing. Of course, the safety aspect of the "Saturn" is always present. If you want to make your dog safer at night or want to see what your dog is doing, then the "Saturn" is what you need.
